Prices
The prices advertised for room reservations include accommodation as described on our website and breakfast.

Booking and cancellation
We will secure your booking with us at the point of booking by collecting credit card details with an expire date to cover your stay. The full payment for your stay will be due on check in. Or by collecting full payment if the prepayment rate is selected. By booking this rate you agree that our normal cancellation policies do not apply.

While we try to ensure the specific room requested is available, Springfield House reserves the right to alter the room on a like for like basis if required

If you need to cancel your stay with us please contact us as soon as possible.
For cancellations of your reservations made up to 4 days before your stay, we will refund any deposit that you have paid, save for a £2 administration fee. For cancellations made after this time you will be liable for the full cost of your stay. We will always do our best to re-sell your booking and where we succeed we will refund the full amount to you save for a £2 administration fee. In the event of a no show or booking reduction (after arrival date) the full cost of the booking is charged.

We would recommend that you take out holiday insurance to cover you in the event of a cancellation.

Arrival and departure
Check-in is between 3pm and 9pm. We will do our best to meet guests needs and arrange check-in outside of these times but this must be arranged in advance.

Check out time is by 10am on the day of your departure.

Payment methods
A valid credit card is required to guarantee the booking.
Payments by cash, cheque, bacs, and the following cards:
Visa Debit / Delta, Visa Credit, Maestro / Switch, Mastercard, American Express - no charge.

Parking
Free car parking and the main entrance to Springfield House is at the rear of the property.

Children
We are sorry but we do not accept bookings for children under 2 years of age. We do not offer discounted rates for guests under the age of 18 years.

Smoking
Springfield House is a strictly non-smoking establishment. If any evidence of smoking is found in rooms guests will be asked to leave immediately and will be liable for the full cost of their stay. In addition to this an excess of £150 will be charged to cover the cost of deep cleaning.

Hot food
Should you wish to bring takeaway food into the premises, Springfield House are able to provide the dining room for your convenience rather than eating in your bedroom. No cooking is permitted in bedrooms!

Dogs
We regret that we do not allows dogs (or other animals) to stay at Springfield House.

Non-availability of accommodation
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however attempt to offer you alternative accommodation of a similar standard. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund the monies paid by you for your accommodation only. Springfield House’s liability would not extend beyond this refund.

Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying at Springfield House as you may be held responsible and liable for any breakages and damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents.

Please report any spills, damages or breakages as soon as they occur. We may need to make a charge for repair if the damage or breakage is significant.

A charge of £20 will be levied for replacement room keys should the need arise.

Liability
Springfield House does not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions. Items left in the guest fridge or any shared areas are at your own risk.

Privacy Policy
Any data collected during the course of your booking may be held on computer. With your permission we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will never share your details with third parties.

Complaints
Springfield House aims to ensure your stay exceeds your expectations and is great in every way, however there may be occasions where we are unable to satisfy our guests needs, wants or tastes.

We would request that you raise your dissatisfaction immediately and allow Springfield House the opportunity to resolve any issues immediately. We welcome all types of feedback and take every step to improve our services and get better every day.
